UPDATED: PMG Grading On-Site in India in April 2020

PMG will conduct its third on-site grading event in India alongside NGC's first on-site grading event. IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Government of India has suspended most visas due to the coronavirus situation. As a result, the PMG India on-site grading event has been cancelled. Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) will perform on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation of paper money in Mumbai, India, in April 2020. This is the third PMG India on-site grading event and this time it will be joined by its affiliate, Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®), which will offer on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation of coins in India for the first time.

This PMG India on-site grading event will be held April 20-25, 2020 during the annual S. M. Shukla Day Memorial Coin Fair. Submissions must be received by an Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer in India by Saturday, March 28, 2020. See details below.

Vintage and modern notes from nearly all countries are eligible, and there are no additional fees for the on-site grading.

Founded in 2005, PMG provides an expert and impartial assessment of a banknote’s authenticity and grade. After a note is graded, it is encapsulated in PMG’s secure, tamper-evident holder, which is designed for long-term preservation and protection.

PMG India Submissions

All submissions to the April 2020 PMG India on-site grading event should be made to a PMG Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer in India. Submissions must be received by an Official Submission Center or Authorized Dealer by Saturday, March 28, 2020.
